Who we are

Vondo Labs ("Vondo", "we", "us") operates the Vondo mobile application and vondo.money. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information when you use our app and website.

Non-custodial by design

Vondo is built on a non-custodial architecture. We never take custody of your funds, and we never hold your private keys. Your balance lives in a wallet you control. We cannot move, freeze, or access your assets without your authorization.

Wallets and key management

Vondo uses embedded wallets provided by Privy. Private keys are managed by Privy using secure enclave technology (TEE — Trusted Execution Environment). Vondo does not store your private keys on our servers.

When you sign a transaction, authorization happens on your device through Privy's wallet infrastructure. We receive only the information needed to display your activity and operate the app — not your secret key material.

Information we store

When you create and use a Vondo account, we may store:

• Your email address
• Your name
• Your Vondo handle (username)
• Your public Solana wallet address
• Your transaction history as displayed in the app

We use this information to operate your account, show your balance and activity, and provide app features such as sending, receiving, and the AI assistant.

Website & waitlist

When you visit vondo.money or join the early-access waitlist, we also collect a limited set of information separate from your app account:

• The email address you voluntarily submit to join the waitlist
• Basic, anonymized analytics about how the website is used (pages visited, general region, device type)

We use this information to notify you about Vondo updates and early access, understand and improve how the website performs, and communicate important product information. We do not collect financial information, identity documents, or sensitive personal data through the website alone.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. You can unsubscribe from waitlist communications at any time using the link in any email we send.

Public blockchain data

Transactions on Solana are public by nature. Anyone can view on-chain activity associated with a wallet address, including amounts, timestamps, and counterparties. This is inherent to public blockchains and is not controlled by Vondo.

Your public Solana address may be visible to others if you share it or transact with them.

Service providers

We work with trusted third parties to operate Vondo. They process data only as needed to provide their services:

• Supabase — database and backend infrastructure
• Privy — embedded wallets and key management
• Anthropic — AI assistant that powers conversational features
• MoonPay — card and bank purchases (when available)
• Sentry — error monitoring and app stability
• Jupiter — token swaps and conversion

Each provider has its own privacy practices. We choose partners that meet our security standards, but we encourage you to review their policies directly.

AI assistant

Vondo's AI assistant receives transaction data and account context to generate responses — for example, to answer questions about your spending, explain fees, or help you set goals.

When you interact with the assistant, relevant transaction history and account information may be sent to Anthropic to produce a reply. Do not share sensitive information you would not want processed for this purpose.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Vondo app
• Display your balance, transaction history, and account details
• Process and display transfers you initiate
• Power the AI assistant and related features
• Monitor errors and fix bugs (via Sentry)
• Communicate with you about your account or product updates
• Comply with legal obligations

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Deletion — request that we delete your account and associated data
• Export — request a portable copy of your data

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@vondo.money. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Note that on-chain transaction data on Solana cannot be deleted or modified by Vondo or anyone else.

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data from our systems, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Children

Vondo is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Vondo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
